The GTBank token is a small electronic device with a button and a small screen which displays random set of numbers (6 digits) each time the button is pressed. The device is used for making secured transaction on your GTBank Internet Banking Platform.
Some of the actions that would require the token are:
- Adding a new recipient when making a transfer
- Monetary Transferring money from GTBank to GTBank or to other banks.
- Conducting FX transfers and Making FX Sales
- Processing Cash/Draft In transit
- Adding more service options on our Internet Banking platform (add service)
The token displays a 6 digit code and a text box on the GTBank internet banking portal is usually provided where you have to enter the 6 digit code to process or conduct any action. To get the GTBank token follow the instructions below.
How to Get a GTBank Token
To get the GTBank token you would need to have an active internet banking profile or register for GTB Internet Banking.

Print out the form
FIll and complete all required details with a pen
Walk down to the nearest GTBank Branch to submit the form
Scan the filled form and send it via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Then pick up the GTBank Token in the nearest branch or the branch where you submitted the form immediately.
Do note that a small fee would be deducted from your account for the token.
